I have been researching this question extensively over the past few weeks. I wanted to find out exactly what all a customer is receiving when they purchase a vehicle wrap. Don't Let This Happen To Your Vehicle Wrap!

I wanted to write today in reference to an article I posted on our Facebook earlier this week. While doing some industry research I ran across this article: http://www.autoevolution.com/news/hummer-h1-bares-the-scars-of-its-poor-vinyl-wrap-job-44481.html After reading this I was both shocked and appalled that anyone in our industry would do this to one of their customers vehicles. The sad thing is, this isn’t the first time I have heard something like this happening in our industry. More and more I have found that wrap companies are cutting corners when it comes to vehicle wraps. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out an explanation for all of this; and I think I figured out how something like this could happen (besides just pure laziness.) Recently all wrap companies have faced an increase in the price of vinyl due to raw material price increase. This is something that happens in every industry worldwide. Prices have steadily inclined everywhere since before any of us were born. It has been brought to my attention that some companies, instead of raising their own prices due to the raw material price increase, decided to decrease the amount of labor they put into each vehicle wrap. This allows them to still offer the same prices to their customers, and still make money doing it. In a perfect world that would all work out well; but alas the world is not that way. The cuts that some companies are making in labor, lead to situations such as the above occurring to some peoples vehicles.

I know that people are trying more and more to save money wherever they can, but on a vehicle wrap, that isn’t always the case. On the other hand, I have found that some companies are overpricing their work way too much. My best advice to give to you if you are considering a vehicle wrap in the future would be to do your research. Knowing who you are working with is extremely important when it is your vehicle you are trusting with someone else. I want to talk about how the decision to either paint or wrap your vehicle is an important decision for any small business to make. If you own a small business; and you are considering vehicle advertising: I want to tell you why choosing a wrap is the best decision for your company.
